Commentary

La liste des ducs d’Antioche a été établie par J.-C. Cheynet [1] : notre personnage fut en poste au milieu du XIe siècle, avant 1060 [2]. Il s’agirait du mari de la soeur de Michel IV, qui fut envoyée en Sicile entre 1037 et 1040 à la tête de la flotte byzantine, avant d’être nommé duc d’Antioche vraisemblablement à la fin du règne de Michel IV [3].
